One of my favourite high-intensity workouts is lifting heavy! Here are 5 reasons why you should consider adding some lifting to your life.
1. It feels good. There’s nothing more empowering then lifting heavy. You feel like you can take on the world, and that’s the way we should all feel at all times.
2. It builds strength. With strength comes confidence. Soon you’ll realise that you can use your body to do some pretty awesome things if you set your mind to it.
3. It regulates your hormones. Lifting heavy weights is a great way to reboot your endocrine system, which boosts energy levels, optimises the function of your body and can even delay the aging process.
4. You look totally badass doing it!
5. It’s fun. Seriously, if I haven’t convinced you yet, I hope this last reason will. Lifting is totally fun. Enough said!
